Artist Statement

People have doubted me my entire life. Not because I couldn’t do something, but because they didn’t believe I could.

"You can’t make art."

"You can’t succeed."

"You don’t belong."

I’ve heard it all. And every time, I’ve proved them wrong.

Their doubt was never my weakness—it was my motivation. Every setback, every rejection, only pushed me to work harder and refine my craft.

Through my 3D work, I create pieces that demand attention, blending technical skill with creative vision. I bring the same discipline and drive into every project, always pushing for the best result, whether working independently or alongside a team.

The industry is always evolving, and so am I—constantly learning, refining my skills, and striving to create at the highest level.

Artist Roadmap

If you could project out past graduation, what is your overall career goal?

  • My goal past graduation is to work in the video game industry as a 3D Hard Surface/Weapon Modeler. I prefer to work in a AAA studio with name recognition. Creating assets for big blockbuster franchises is my goal. I am not opposed to working for AA, indie, small studios, or military simulations as long as I get to do 3D art or be an art director, I am fine with any size team. Besides the video game sector, I am interested in the Film/Animation industry. My BFA is in animation and screenwriting, I would love to explore film-related opportunities as a 3D modeler or art director/lead.

If you could project out into starting your career, what sounds the most appealing to you?

  • If I could get my ideal start, I would choose to start as a 3D Prop Modeler. Even though I am confident in my skills, jumping straight into Hard Surface/Weapons seems intimidating. Starting in an AAA studio would be ideal, but I am open to any size video game, simulation, or film/TV studio. I just want a job making 3D assets.

I am also interested in Lighting, Producer, and Art Managing/Lead jobs.

What are some of the top companies that you are interested in working for?

  • The company I am most interested in is NaughtyDog. The reason why I choose to do 3D Art as my career is because of NaughtyDog’s games. I want to eventually get back to Chicago, and companies like IronGalaxy, which are just a couple blocks away from DePaul University, where I did my undergraduate, would be my dream location. Another company I would absolutely lose my mind if I got to work there, is Bungie. Since 2014 I have been playing the Destiny franchise, I grew up getting loot and slaying raid bosses, it would be a dream to work for Bungie.
